Our Story

What began in 1903 as Muller Gloria Silk Mills grew into Connecticut Lace Works at Muller Park, a key player in America's textile production legacy.
Today, these preserved brick buildings serve a new generation of builders, dreamers, and doers.

Connecticut Lace Works and its tenants at Muller Park served as large employers in the Norwalk area and continued to produce textiles until the early 1970s.

The company was acquired by Dresden Lace Works in 1910 and began to manufacture lace looms in addition to silk under German ownership.
In 1918, the company was purchased by Muller and became Connecticut Lace Works.
